A Message from Steve

Dear Friends,

Since 2017, it has been an honor and a privilege for me to serve DeKalb County as the District 4 Commissioner. When I consider where we were when I first took office, and the progress we have made since then, I am truly astounded.

I know that much more work is yet to be done to keep DeKalb County on track and moving forward to the next level. Steady and competent leadership is required to accomplish this critical mission. To that end, and with your help I am confident that I have the experience, judgment, vision, and temperament to lead us to a new level of prosperity and prominence. Therefore, I am applying for the position of Chief Executive Officer of DeKalb County and I am humbly asking you to hire me.

As a citizen of this country, this state, and this county I have a deep respect and great appreciation for history. In my leadership presentations, I describe the importance of having a sense of history. But, the coming race to be the next CEO of DeKalb County is not about history or making history. It is about the future and who is best equipped to lead us into a bright, new future. I think that person is me. Thank you so much for your consideration!

Now, let’s make it happen!!

Sincerely,

Steve Bradshaw
